For those who like a little ridiculous with the sublime, there's the budding mini-controversy involving Tony Stewart's one-off sponsor for today's Busch Series race. The paint job for Stewart's Chevy, a car actually owned by Kevin Harvick, promotes a new album by Kid Rock, "American Bad Ass" -- except, of course, NASCAR temporarily taped over one of the words Friday (yep, that one). Stewart, as is his nature, reportedly removed the tape during the day. Stay tuned on this fun little episode. We're talking about a sanctioning body that recently gave a thumbs-down to sponsorship by "Redneckjunk.com," [Las Vegas-#50-Cope] but a thumbs-up to a diaper-rash product called "Boudreaux's Butt Paste," [#90-Donlavey Racing] so anything can happen.(Daytona Beach News Journal)

he has been messing with everyone getting interviewed this morning on FX.. first it was Biffle, then Harvick...

On a side note, Boudreaux's Butt Paste will now be Kurt Busch's primary sponsor.

"Butt" became acceptable in polite speech about 13 years ago.........Bush 1 made it okay with his "kick butt" speech during Gulf One War. The other word for the same part of anatomy will be okay when Bush 2 tells us we are "kicking a$$" in the war on terror!! :D

WHew.... Watch out.. Run for cover.. Here come the sparks.

A lot of hub-bub over a 3 letter word.

Isn't cheating acceptable in Nascar as long as you don't get caught? That's gotta be good for your image. Yes, Johnny, cheat and make sure you have a better race car than everyone else and then brag about how great your team is in victory lane.

What's next - searching vehicles coming to races for Kid Rock Albums with questionable titles.

Tony Stewart may be in trouble with NASCAR for an incident in Saturday's Busch race: Stewart's car was sponsored by rocker Kid Rock, who bills himself as "American Bad Ass," from the title of his first hit single. Stewart's car had Kid Rock painted on the quarterpanel and "American Bad Ass" on the hood, but NASCAR officials made Stewart tape over the offending song title. However during the first pit stop Stewart ordered his crew to pull off the tape, which the crew did.(Winston Salem Journal

does it really matter what the car says on it
As long as they words on the cars reflect the FCC... why not put it on there. Heck, they were mad over Red Neck Junk.....

Good for Tony. There's probably no other driver with enought balls to do what Tony did.

Just don't understand why that couldn't have been stated in the other topic...

Not a new topic, just an update of the previous one. Therefore, I have merged the two together. ;)

Yeah, but arent you the ignorant hick who keeps saying oh Kevin Harvick blows or I'd like to stick a shoe up his ass so I find it fair ground if I can respond in kind to your childish demeanor.

I sure hope that question was rhetorical. :)

Hick, maybe.

Ignorant, not on your life.

Anti-Harvick, most definately.

Childish demeanor, I tailor my comments to the intended audience when necessary.

Any other questions?

Just when I think I'll come back to this board and post again...

Mods, when are you going to do something about Happy, DaleJrfan, or whatever he's calling himself now? He throws a tantrum when a few people try to show him about a culture before and now its fine for him to make personal attacks?

EMP isn't exactly an innocent bystander.

We'll leave this open for a little bit longer, but any more name calling or personal attacks I'll lock it down.

maybe the mods should open up a "Mud Slinging" area.

fergy, it's called ignore for the most part. Here lately, he's been on here only sporadically and hasn't been much of a problem. And when he makes a BS post, it has been removed. I'm sorry that I didn't see it when it was posted, but it's kinda difficult to do without power. We had some rather messy storms blow through (literally) and I didn't have any power for 11 or so hours. And after we got the power back on, we had some cleanup to do and then prepare for round two this evening!

Can I ask........... why, if his statement bothered you so much, did you feel the need to copy it so that it can be read again??? The little bugger is walking a thin line, and he is perfectly aware of it. And, just for public record, one more statement like he made in this thread at a forum member, his privileges will be severely limited. ;)

May I ask exactly how many opportunities he gets to be a jacka$$ before he actually gets banned?
