Stewart can't blame Harvick
Posted: Saturday August 04, 2007 10:28AM ET
Tony Stewart was asked if he had talked to Kevin Harvick since Indy? "Yeah, we talked last night. And I know what he was disappointed about. He should have run second. He had the second best car for sure," Stewart said. "Kevin and I are good friends and we talked about it last night. I would have been upset if the roles were reversed too. I can't blame him for that. I made a mistake. I let the car get too high. I've heard differences of opinions from people watching the tape but I still take responsibility for it. I would never race Kevin like that on purpose. I don't race anybody like that on purpose because I'm big about racing guys clean and having them race me clean."

I wasn't saying anything about you. I was surprised that Tony would say that he races clean.

Daytona 2006, Daytona Pepsi 400 2007, Daytona 500 2007, Michigan practice when he wrecked Gilliland, Busch series race he wrecked Newman in, a bunch of times Tony tried to play teacher with rookies last year, Bristol 2001, etc, etc.

Yep, Tony's a clean driver.

Don't forget when he wrecked Denny the other day....

Stewart must think that people who watch Nascar are total, complete idiots who can't see.

Eveytime this guy opens his pie hole I like him less and less.

This is the same Tony Stewart that drives the Home Depot car, right?

Regardless, Tony and Jeff are still the two best drivers in nascar. :D ;)

No it isn't. There are clearly at least 3 Stewarts.

1. The driver

2. the BS'er

3. The generous one.

The one quoted above is #2.
