A couple went on an extended vacation to Greece and upon their return home found that a stranger had moved into their home, moved most of their belonings out and her own into their home. The "poacher" had also changed all the utilities into her own name!
No need to check SNOPES on this one cuz it's NOT an urban legend.
 
It was on our local ABC news affiliate.............and I'm pretty sure it was on FOX news also! Several misdemeanors charges and one felony!! :)
 
I had a friend as a kid that would practice 'house-renting' all the time. In the summer when families would go on vaction, he would stick a for-rent sign in their yard with his phone number on it. Pretty risky, yeah, but he managed to bring in a lot of 'rent deposit' money before the law ever caught on. He would take the money, give the 'renters ' a bogus key and be on his merry way.

Today he is doing time at Kilby Correctional center in South Alabama, no kidding. A bright guy, he could have done well if he would have applied himself.
 
Seen this in the paper .... weird folks out there.
