Just received mine today, online buy. Seriously impressive flashlight. I’ve had the smaller pre-LED Stinger flashlights and they were awesome. 1100 lumens and incredible range on this rechargeable light. Comes with two chargers that can be charged at home or in the car. Highly recommended.

I love my Stinger , got it in 2005/6 and did the LED upgrade to it, love it even more .

I'm not familiar with the different brands of flashlights but I recently purchased 6 led flashlights off of Amazon. They are not rechargeable but the batteries seem to go a long way with them. I bought one for the glove-box of each of our vehicles and a couple for in the RV. I'll probably be buying more for around the house. The price on led lights are incredibly cheap these days and the output is amazing.

I also recently purchase a dusk to dawn LED light that is manufactured by Honeywell Corp. It is a 4000 lumen. Freaking awesome and only uses the same energy as a 40w bulb.

4000 lumens?!! Wow.

I've purchased 3 of these so far. Two, I've put up at home. One as a dusk-to-dawn and the other works off of a switch in our back yard. The other is a gift for someone for Christmas. I got them @ Sam's but they are available all over the place. Sam's was the least expensive @ $49.98.

My present security lights have been up for 9 years and need replacing. I'll look into these, thanks.

Additional words of advise. If you are installing these under an overhang..... The 'eye' is located at the top of this unit. It can cause a strobe affect if mounted to close to that upper surface. The reflection of the bright light produced will cause the unit to 'think' it is daylight thus turning off the light. In turn, the darkness will turn it on again. Rinse and repeat. Bottom line..... give yourself room at the top of this mount to avoid frustration.

How did you find that out? :D

Welp, the one I installed on the back of the house is mounted tight to the soffit. I didn't intend on it being used as a dusk to dawn light. I only want it on when I flip the switch but I found out quickly the first night I tried it. I flipped the switch and let's just say, all I needed was a good beat and I could have thrown a neighborhood dance party. Remedied by a little piece of electric tape.

Some Honeywell LED light pics. They can't really do this light justice. My driveway is about 80ft long making it slightly over 100ft across the road. You can easily see into the woods across the road when looking out my front window. I also have one on the back of the house. My yard slopes down from the house and extends 300ft to the creek. I can clearly see down to the creek from my back deck with one of these lights.
