He sure beats the hell out of Linkin Park, doesn't he? :p

I just looked Linkin Park up on Google...are they one of those new rap/metal boy bands?

Yeah, Linkin Park is one of those crap new boy bands. Don't like them at all, but apparently, B.C. would rather Junior present an MTV award to them than an R&B artist: :p

Just listened to one of their songs.

More of the same mass-produced crap marketed towards impressionable youth. All those bands are the same, stupid "angry" rich kids pretending to be cool. The only difference between bands like that and bands like Backstreet Boys is that their target audiences are different. It's the same exact thing.

For some good new music try Susan Tadesci (great blues guitarist), the new Elvis Costello album is absolutely breathtaking, Foo Fighters, Rusted Root, Barry Adamson, Sonic Youth has a new album...the list of incredible, ground breaking, experimental music out right now is awesome.

That crap they play over and over on the radio and MTV for the 14 year olds is for the birds.

Give me real rock and roll.

im guess a young impressionable youth, i like linkin park not all of it like when they scream but "in the end" i can really relate, what is yalls opinion on P.O.D, there song "youth of a nation" is about columbine and i fine "alive" very inspirational.
 
Zoe, I actually like that song, "Youth of a Nation". It's probably one of maybe two songs by them that I know, but it's a catchy one. :)
 
Linkin Park is fine. Just because you do not like them, does not mean they suck, it just means that you shouldn't listen to them.

I happen to not enjoy Jazz an R and B. Doesn't mean it sucks. I just do not like it.
 
I love Linkin Park and P.O.D. Some of there stuff sucks but most of it ain't bad.

There a few of the new rap/metal boy-bands. They rap about how angry they are etc etc...total commercialism.

I have said it before, and I will say it again.

There are talented people in this country. There are those who possess such a rare talent as to be considered special. There are those who exceed adequate praise. When B. B. King dies, this nation will lose a true national treasure. What separates him from 25,000 guitarists is that he knows when NOT to play. Chet Atkins knew when to play and when not to. BB King knows it. Eric Clapton knows it. SRV knew it. That's about it. Long live BB.
