Stupid Knees

I have concluded that human knees are some of the weakest engineered designed structures around. I say this after I learned I completly tore my ACL in my right knee in the end of Feburary during a indoor football leauge game that I play in. I went to make a cut back, but instead, my knee colasped and poped three times. Gota an MRI a couple weeks later and Tendons show up black. Where my ACL was, was completly white. So surgery is tommorow, fun fun.
I was wondering if any of you guys have any stories of design failures in your joints? I talked to Paul a while back when it happened. He has a pretty ouch of a story too.

Anyway, keep your engines tuned and I will take to you guys later.

Best of luck to you on your surgery, nate. I tend to agree with you on the knee structure design. Although never have had surgery on mine, have had a few minor sports knee injuries. Definitely feel the pain of the weather changes in them, too.

Again, good luck on your surgery! ;)

Dood, good luck, I fell 40 geet down a elevator shaft, during construction jan 2002, I've only been walking again since Aug  Smashed both heels, Crushed 3 vert. in my back and C2 fracture in my neck. The bad thing I remember the whole thing!

Bucky, from the looks of those x-rays, you are just lucky that you are alive, much less walking!

Someone was on my side, probalby the credit card companies, since I had recently made some large purchases at XMas! LOL

Good luck with your surgery. Sure you'll be back on your feet in no time. I hyper extended my knee once and it hurt like hell for about 15 mins, but was then just a little tender. I have had more trouble with my ankles more than anything.

NateDogg, good luck with your surgery tomorrow! Have been lucky when it has came to my knees, but my right foot is another story, I have broke it three times! I walk 5 miles a day, everyday and by 4 1/2 miles it never fails my foot is swollen.
 Here's to a speedy recovery.

When God created the humane knee. I don't think he had football and falling down elevator shafts in mind. :D

Hey Nate, Sorry to hear about your pain. Hope you are up and frying a goose soon :p Other than that how have ya been? Everything down here is going well.

Thanks everyone. Thisis the first time I haver felt good enough and able to get on the comp. Been pretty busy around here Tab, no cajun goose or catfish so far this year and it might be awhile, dang. Bucky, my knee doesn't feel so bad now, hehe. Still hurts a lot though. Can bend it 30 degrees now. Thanks again. I should be back up and running in no time.
