So a tornado dropped down in breckenridge, went over to decatur, picked up, jumped gainesville and callisburg (thank goodness, i was at church during half the storm and drove home in the other half), and dropped back down in whitesboro.

I can go another few years without that kind of scare. absolutely blinding rain and hydroplaned a few times.

Glad it missed you! I was worried about ya.........it all went north of us, but we may get some from the next round between midnight and 6am tomorrow.

Check in guys. Y'all had a rough night up there.

We got lucky --- storm got to the Trinity river and fell apart. I though for sure we were going to get blown off our hill.

Woke up this morning to a swarm of helicopters scouting the area. Apparently there was a touchdown in the area. Also one apparently reported near gainesville.

Believe it or not, I slept right thru the storm. No lost power, but some folks about 10 miles south of us weren't as lucky. Damaged homes and businesses, and even an 18-wheeler was blown over on the freeway just south about 6 miles. Glad you were spared, TRL!

NWS insists that there we no tornadoes. However, pictures and videos of funnels in the area are aplenty.

Glad that yer all okay. I worry many times about my pop down there near OKC. If you all remember May 3rd, 1999, pop dodged a big one that hit Moore, OK and up through OKC and Mid West City. Note the map attached. This is one reason I don't miss my old home state.
