What are the odds of this wind makeing the cars go a little fast if the wind hits the back side of their cars I mean 25-40 mph with gust

Good save by Nadeau though.

I was amazed to see Bill Elliott be the first car to go a lap down, he was running in 2nd not to long before that...im very dissapointed...

Congrats to Rusty, for dominating the first 2/3 of the race before fading; to Ricky Craven, for a quiet, but stellar 4th place finish, in PPI's debut of their in-house enigines; and Jamie McMurray for finishing 5th, which was 18 spots higher than any other rookie. Oh, and to DJ for outdueling a "young gun" at the end to take the checkers. Great race.

I love that DJ's crew worked and worked to get that car right and gave him that chance to win!!
I am puzzled by Rusty's crews decision to work on that car that was leading for so long, if it aint broke, dont fix it guys! What were they thinking?? He had the car to beat till they beat it for him!
I was so thankful that Busch kept his head about him (or heeded the words from the Nascar trailer) and decided not to wreck Jarrett.

What a race today, it is to bad that in all likelyhood Rockingham is going to lose a date :(

DJFan, if you've ever listened to Rusty on the scanner during a race, he tends to micro-manage the adjustments on his car. Sometimes I think he tries to adjust too much, trying to find that fine line.

I thought it was a pretty good race. At least they didn't have plates on 'em. Jeff had a pretty rough day, but still finished ok. Matt Kenseth had a very good, yet quiet day. A third place finish at the Rock and now sitting in 6th place in the standings after 2 races. A long way to go, but a nice start indeed.
