My ol man had a 66, plumb color with a black vinyl top, suicide doors, black leather with a 430 under the hood..I got to drive it twice. He loved that thing, I don't blame him.

I had a 1986 Caddy Fleetwood Brougham D'elagance. Had all the options except sun roof. Puny 305 that couldn't pull a ducky on a string, replaced with a 350, mild cam, Holley. Got better gas mileage too and it surprised a few too with it's performance..
btw, the MSRP for that car was right at 26k.
