First off I want to say congrats to Mike Skinner, a long over due win.

I love truck racing, and I love Bristol, but this was the absolute worst production/ commentating I've ever seen done.
I found it very boring just because of what we were shown and the drivel we had to listen to. And, ... HOW did we miss 16 of the final 20 laps? they didn't even get us back for the green, just a bit slower and we would've missed the finish. :confused:

EAGLE 1 is right. The coverage SUCKED !!!!!!!! To once again use the words of Eagle1, it was the absolute owrse production ever seen. It was almost as if it were a training session.

To add to the disaster, the dialog from the broadcast booth was as bad as the rest of the show. The entire critique could be sumarized by quoting Mike Waltrip's asturte observation (not once but several times in succession) "you've got to have a fast truck to win here".

Mikey is barely mediocre as a race car driver and worse when in the broadcast booth.

If SPEED channel wants to increase the audience, they should get some people announcing who at least speak with a modicum of intelligence and intuitive observations other than " you've got to have a fast truck to win here".

Cut me a break, puleeeeeeeezeee, !!!!!!!!!!! Keep Mikey out of the booth !!!!!!
 
I kept yelling at the TV --- SHUT UP, Mikey! !

The race was bland --- but only because Skinner was feasting while the rest of the field was fighting for table scraps. Haven't seen a car/truck that dominant in a long time.

A long overdue win for Mike. Good job.
 
Wasting time complaining about time wasted.

Got some old friends from outta' town stopping in...I think I'll get wasted :)
