Looks like we have an epic game on our hands, Carolina trails New England 16-21. It was a defensive struggle early, now the offense of both teams are starting to shine, Delhomme and Brady in a throwing battle, both QBs with good arms. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have an epic on our hands!

Seems like a good game... Except i'm dissapointed with the halftime show. I thought they were going to play music.

LOL ! I love the new commericals theyre airing, like the one where Dale Jr. drives through the defense of the opposing football team with the #8 Budweiser Chevy.

Anyway, back to the game, it might come down to the wire. That is, if the game maintains this present course. Looks like the Panthers defense is committing a lot of penalties, however theyre managing to rush Brady in the pocket. For the most part, the Panthers D doesnt seem to be getting to Brady that much, in terms, he's still passing the ball and getting it to his receivers quite nicely.

Panthers lead the Patriots, 22 - 21. 6:50 left in the 4th Quarter

Patriots score and then a two point conversion, it is now 29 - 22 with 2:51 remaining in the 4th Quarter

I knew the Panthers were pumped, but didn't ecpect such a close game!

YEEEHAWWW Pats WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it depends on what music you like, personally I liked it, especially the end :P

Congratulations to the New England Patriots, your 2004 Super Bowl Champions

Wonder how much Viniatieri will be asking for in next month's paycheck. Thats 2 Game-Winning Super Bowl Field Goals

Funny thing is that the captain of our HS football team and Class President was named Mike Grable! I was graduated From a Massachusetts HS in '61!

edited for typos LOL

Ah, phooey. I was hoping Carolina would win. And that half time sucked.

I thought the Jr. commercial was stupid & no, it isn't because I don't care for him either! :P I actually saw that one a few days before the Super Bowl.

I did rather enjoy the Bud Light one with a couple on a one horse open sleigh with the gal holding a candle & the horse lifting his tail and breaking wind...now that's entertainment!

After a slow beginning, someone opened the bottle of lightning!

That was one of the best SuperBowl games I've seen in years.

I figured the Pats would win it, but was rooting for the Panthers, too.

I agree. It was one of the best in years. No blow out like most have been. Both teams played hard and deserve to win. But there can only be one winner. :(

I just wanna say....THE PANTHER GOT HOSED ON THE 4TH AND INCHES CALL!!!

Antwoine Smith clearly didn't get the1st down. He got stuff and was pushed back at least 2 yards..Stupid arse refs.

Edited for language......

While I agree ( :o ) with you Old Ironhead, I don't believe that one call was what won the game for the Patriots.

(And, please, your language.)

This place takes the cake...really. I think I'm gonna be sick. Bye.

If the Panthers had not made those failed two point conversion attempts and instead gone for the extra point. They wouldve won, they wouldve changed the tempo of the game. There will be lots of people pointing their fingers at John Kasay because he kicked that ball out of bounds during the kickoff. He'll definitely be a scapegoat.

and how about that fat streaker during the 3rd Quarter?

I would've liked to have seen the Carolina linebacker flatten that guy. News reports said he leveled him.

Some reports say that the Police did a full body search on that streaker, I'm talking, even behind the "teeth"

What ever flots his boat. If Janet can get naked then why not him. The girls need something to watch to.

I dont think women would want to be attracted to that walrus.

Anyway, I also noticed a mistake with the Panthers Defense close to the end of the game, they were playing Zone defense, and I think Tom Brady was able to guide his receivers to the vulnerable spots that the Panthers showed. Of course, the right course of action to take in that case would be to play man-to-man defense.

It would of helped if the last kick off went further than 30 yards! The Pats proved again that they find a way to win....wooo hooo way to go Pats.

Kasay will clearly be the "goat" of this Super Bowl if you know what I mean, like Norwood was it, who missed that field goal in the Bills-Giants game in '92.

There's always a goat. :D

heh, I don't think there can be much of a goat in a 3pt game. Any number of things could of went either way.

Carolinas invisible defense in the 4th quarter should be the goat. Aside from the interception in the end zone New England was able to do whatever they wanted.

I don't really think you could say the Panther defence was invisable. After all with one minute left they were tied at 29 all. That ment that NE's defence wasn't stoping Panther offence nither. Becaust they were able to score to, I just think it came down who had the ball in the last few seconds and that happen to be New England. :D
