Super Speedways Question

I've been to the races in Richmond and couldn't handle the fuel and rubber fumes (allergies and asthma), I had to leave early.
The boyfriend tells me that if I go to Daytona or other large track I won't have that problem. Is he just saying this to get me to go, or is there actually better air quality at the big tracks?

Sit higher in the stands, like at the back row of the largest grandstand & you should be ok.

It's a safe bet you wouldn't have the same problem at Daytona that you did at Richmond.

Richmond there are cars constantly passing by you. At Daytona or Dega the cars will only pass you once every minute or so

Welcome BlackburnForever . Great question . Unfortunately , you may be asking the wrong people . Being addicted to that smell is why we're here on this forum . I 've been to Daytona many times and can't give you any answer .It's a big part of the racing experience so it is likely there , but not as bad as a short track, like Richmond .

He can't go by himself?

He can't go by himself?
Hell yeah! I would rather stay in a hotel room and watch the race on television with my own clean bathroom and a pool to lounge around, but he has a problem with traveling all the way to a super speedway and then having me not go and "enjoy" it with him. But I really like watching it on TV.

Will a good quality dust mask help at all ? That will stop all the particles anyway
