Today Usac announced that Brandon "The Micrale" Martin,24, of Greentown,Indiana has failed a drug anyalis tested. Usac has not mention in their press report what substance he failed. Scott Barash Usac CEO said " Brandon is a amazing talent he been thourgh alot but this is being taken in to a cometitee meeting Wednesday". Brandon's most recent race was a last lap Victory at Eldora speedway most known for talking on his cell phone during a Victory lane interview with his girlfriend Brieane McCartney. In amazing fashion he won the Race...he was slated to race Ft Wayne for Borris Said but has withdrawn from that competieon. He is still in the running to run the Chili Bowl.

Brandon Martin has elected to produce a B sample. Usac CEO Scott Barash said " the b sample will be taken at the committee hearing Wednesday Dec. 12th. If it is proven the A test sample is false the B sample will become the A sample in this case". More and more in racing but I'm sure we all remain hopeful there is someone out there that can show positive in a situation like this. Brandon Martin has 13 feature wins 27 top 5s and 33 top 10s since his violent 2007 accident. It would be a shame if we lost such a talent.

Update: Today Scott Barash announced there is a little hope for racing fans. That a Driver suspected of violating the banned substance policy of Usac has proven it was a false positive. Brandon Martin ,24, on Monday it was announced he failed a drug test. Wednesday at about 1pm the Usac disaplinary committee held a meeting about this issue. Then Brandon submitted a B sample his two B samples came back nominal. This is a pleasant surpise that Motorsports community needed from past history all a b sample has given is valdtiaion that the suspect driver voilated the rules. However this case showed there is hope that some drivers can be good examples for future inspiring drivers. I for am looking forward to seeing Brandon " The Mircale" Martin bring more trophies to KKR.
