Lunch today with my Bride at the world famous Sharkey's on the Pier in Venice, Florida. A bowl of Sharkey's clam chowder and a dozen peel 'n eat shrimp with a cold Landshark lager. The view from the natural air elements.

I guess there aren't many regions in the world where you'll see a Plymouth, an Audi 90, a Trabant convertible and a Wartburg Tourist parked next to each other.

I spent another incredible fall weekend with my fiancé in Hocking Hills. Located near Logan, OH (about an hour southeast of Columbus). Beautiful area with a ton of cabin rentals, and awesome caves/trails/parks to check out....

This cabin had everything you could want. Multiple patio/balcony outdoor areas (one of which had a hot tub), basement with a pool table, and way out in the middle of nowhere. Complete privacy and surrounded by nothing but trees and nature.

There's a few GREAT restaurants nearby, and a couple of really cool craft stores and antique malls. I always manage to find something worth buying. Here's this year's purchase....

If you want to spend a weekend in Ohio, I highly recommend the Hocking Hills area.

After getting beyond the beauty of the sunrise, noticed potholes and patches in highway. Reminds me of New Jersey in the spring with the roads eroded by winter weather.
