I always wondered about this. How much of racing (from a driver's POV) is talent, and how much of it is practice? My brother used to race RL Go-Karts and then Mini-Stocks and he was a monster behind the wheel. He did things with a kart or car that made me believe that he had some god given talent.
Where as for me, I can turn a 100 laps on a simulator (or RL Kart/Car), but I doubt I'll ever match my brother's talent or skill when it comes to racing. Hel, I'm lucky if I stay on the lead lap. *laughs*
