Crucial race for Denny. Absolutely crucial. He needs to be on full send....Roval looms, and he is terrible there. I feel like Bell is solid--until he isn't--because Dega. Reddick needs to attack. MY Toyotas are not making me comfortable.

DISCLAIMER: My apologies for getting hyped for this system. I know the RF narrative is to hate it. You go along and do that, I will be over here enjoying every second even though MY guys are in trouble.

Hey Rev, you won’t find me beating up on Yotas even if I don’t pull for them. Love your passion, but despise Hambone, so I’d like to see him blow up early. But this track is wild and ALWAYS unpredictable. Wish I was gonna be there in person..have never attended ‘Dega.

Well then what is a Hambone without a toyota lol? :idunno:

jNo changes … none needed.

Storyline – Pit strategy in play for Cup teams at Talladega: While NASCAR Cup teams will see some tire wear at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend, there will be a lot of opportunities for pit and tire strategy on NASCAR’s longest oval. Depending on the situation, teams will use four-tire, two-tire and fuel only pit stops during the 188-lap race. Often, one’s tire decisions come down to staying closely aligned with teammates and others they are working with to maintain their position in the draft.

“Since we moved to this 18-inch tire in 2022, this is the 12th race at either Talladega and Daytona on this tire set-up for Cup teams,” said Greg Stucker, Goodyear’s director of racing. “Tire wear is fairly manageable at Talladega, though it has slowly increased over the years. Having said that, tire strategy will be a big factor in Sunday’s race with teams mixing in two-tire and fuel only pit stops depending on the stint. Especially on green flag stops, the main goal will be to stay lined up with teammates or others from the same manufacturer to best manage the draft.”

Notes – Cup cars on standard Talladega/Daytona tire set-up: Being on 18-inch bead diameter tires, NASCAR Cup teams will run a different tire set-up than those in the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series at Talladega this weekend . . . the Cup cars will run the same combination of left- and right-side tires that they’ve run at Talladega since 2022 . . . these teams have also run this tire set-up at Daytona over that same time . . . with this 18-inch tire, and its lower profile sidewall, NASCAR Cup cars do not run inner liners in any of their tires.

Yes Denny just has to stay near the back behind all the wrecks and miss them. :( :D

I’m with ya. Not on Toyota drivers, especially Hamlin, but love the excitement of the system. It’s good to be able to accept some change.

I don't know if this is credible or if they are screwing with the odds. We'll find out.

I think it's a lawsuit joke. Denny and the 23XI / FRM cars.

Now that the paperwork is actually filed, NASCAR would have to be insane to give the impression it's treating these teams differently from the others.

Yeah I saw that part, know that Nascar has never taken that many cars back to be inspected, but not knowing who Highline betting is or how popular they are in the odds maker world, stuff like this can skew the odds. What you said could also act the opposite by keeping those cars from not being inspected and that also would be treating those cars differently. Eh, it's something to look at IMO.

This wouldn't be an issue if non-playoff drivers like Chastain get out of the way, instead of winning races that should go to playoff drivers who need to advance.

:sarcasm:
The gerbils are going to make it sound like a playoff driver was shot down in flames when a wreck happens. Put Lajoie and Stenhouse on the front row?
