TBR Back in the Top 35!!!

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (April 16, 2012) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) locked both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) teams into the top-35 for next weekend’s race at Kansas Speedway. David Reutimann battled the handling of the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet to finish in the 26th position in the Samsung Mobile 500 and moved back into the top-35 in points. An engine problem ended Dave Blaney’s day early. The No. 36 Jimmie Johnson’s Anything with an Engine Chevrolet finished in 37th place Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway.

All anyone seems to care about are the top five , but there are some great struggles going on all over the board and good for TBR . They got a lot of undeserved abuse two weeks ago but came back this week with a good run from David.
 
Almost 2 1/2 hours since posting and only one response....................I wonder how many I would have got if the title was DANICA PATRICK BACK IN THE TOP 35 :(
 
It is good. Baldwin is building and we need more owners. Having just a few kingmakers isn't a good thing. Big thumbs up to TBR being an owner is tough business, very few make it, it is almost insane to try.
 
I wonder if Danica would get more fans if she did the southern 3 name gig?

To truely make an impact the southern market it would have to be Danica Jo Patrick and we could start calling Tommy Baldwin Jr.....Cooter.

Where did you come from Fender ? I thought this thread wasn't compelling enough . Someone mentions pancakes and all of a sudden , here's the Fender with knife and fork and bib tied around his neck . Now it's real compelling .:D

A bib you say eh? That makes me think of Crab. Crab and Pancakes................. Is that like Chicken and waffles?
 
“My deal is to be in that car for 26 races,” said Reutimann. “She’s in it for 10. So anyone with any common sense should (realize) it’s more of a benefit for me to keep it in the Top-35 so I don’t have to worry about it.

“Danica is dealing with the same deal I am,” he explained. “The better she runs, the better it is for me. And the better I run, the better it is for her. But I guarantee when she’s out there racing, she’s not racing for David Reutimann. Danica’s racing for herself, and I’m doing the same thing.

“It really shouldn’t be all that hard to figure out,” said Reutimann. “I don’t know what all the hype is about.”
