It's looking like our team of Dale Red-Man Jr , Tear'em up Tony and Wallace may win this race!
Tony is having to work this car hard, for the win..........not long to go now.
Still has a one lap lead...............but the car is take a beatin!
Come on Tony...........just hold on!
Bud's to ya!
Icing them down here in Big Tejas!
H-Town is a rockin..................Go Cat's...........!

Tony give her all he had, the car just couldn't take it anymore. Great performance by Dale Jr. and him though.

 Well as luck would have it, the rear end just let go!

I can't believe that... after 23 hours and 48 minutes, the suspension broke with 12 minutes to go!!

That is a heartbreak..

:(

That just really blows! I was hoping that they could hang on and get that first place spot. Oh, well. Guess they'll just have to settle for 2nd.

i couldnt believe it while sitting here watchin....but I give a nod to smoke and Jr for doin a helluva job during the race....

I sat here and watched it happen and was dismayed! I'm sure Whizzer can fill us all in on what a busted rocker arm can do to a vehicle.

Kudos to ALL on the 2 Team for a valiant try!

I felt bad for Tony! He drove like a true champion and to have that break so close to the end is just heartbreaking.

I was rooting for the #54 Bell Motorsports car all race long because of 3 reasons. The number 54( which is our family number) and that it was a Pontaic. ( ok, it was a GM motor badged as a pontaic) Thirdly is because Christian Fittipaldi was one of the co-drivers!

Glad they won!

Tony was sure humble, articulate and yet still pleased with the team effort during the interview. I was Impressed!

I too was sooooooooo disappointed when the car broke, I was hoping Tony could nurse it to the end but I guess the car had other ideas. :D Still very proud of Jr's and Tony's showing in the race. They both drove like champions, as both will be in the future.
Also felt bad for the #4 car JJ was running. They ran a great race till the mechanical gremlins bit them.

Kudos to the whole team. Tony, DE, and Andy. They kept that car in the lead
and registered most laps led.
Tony's face said it all when he climbed outta that car.

3rd isn't chopped liver by any matter of means!!!!!

Congrats to all three of the boys on a fine drive.
