This won"t happen.

I certainly hope not. There's enough young racecar drivers out there that hasn't had the chance that are so much more deserving. Mayfield has had his chance and he blew it. After he did that he did nothing to show NASCAR that he wanted another chance. That's one person I think the sport can live without. ARCA needs to separate themselves from that situation. Oh he's a good guy...good guys don't do what he did and good guys can admit the mistakes they make. When Shane Hmiel was suspended he turned it around and submitted several drug tests a week to NASCAR to show them he wanted it.

Think the property is 6397 Hudson Chapel Rd. Catawba , NC,28609...saw a pic at one of the real estate websites but now I can't find it.

The ARCA ride could possibly be in doubt.....

Jeremy Mayfield indicted by Iredell Co. grand jury

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield was indicted by a grand jury in Iredell County on Wednesday for several larcenies dating back to 2010.

Mayfield is charged with five counts of felonious breaking and entering of tractor-trailers and one count of felony larceny. He is also charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny from a building.

Mayfield was also indicted in February by a Catawba County Superior Court after allegedly stealing more than $1,000 worth of goods from three companies and storing the stolen items at his home.

Mayfield, 42, may lose that home in Newton later this month as well. The Associated Press reported on April 3 foreclosure documents filed in Catawba County show the Mayfield and his wife owe Carolina Farm Credit more than $3 million for loans borrowed in 2006.

The former NASCAR driver appeared in court earlier this month on five felony charges of methamphetamine possession as well.

He was indefinitely suspended from NASCAR after failing a drug test in May 2009.
