My question is about the brake rotors used in NASCAR races. Does anyone KNOW whether the cars use PLAIN rotors or DRILLED rotors or SLOTTED rotors? Or if perhaps different tracks use different styles of rotors?
We have had words with son-in-law about his Jeep.. So I'd like a little more information about these different types of rotors... Are there more types?
Betsy:rolleyes:

NASCAR i believes uses slotted.

plain are NEVER, EVER, EVER used in racing.

eek i have to go..will add on when i get back from work unless somebody beats me.

FYI for a jeep, i would suggest rotors that are both drilled and slotted if he can find them. if not, then he should get drilled, ESPECIALLY if he goes through water and expects to have decent braking in water.
