Telcel Motorola 200 (Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez) Raceday Thread

Well ain't this cool.

When ever the English broadcast goes to commercials, the spanish broadcast stays on, so you're not missing a beat :)

Boring, boring!! Why am I sitting, watching, waiting for some serious racing?
Boring, boring!!
Betsy

I turned to ESPN and couldn't understand anything. I didn't know the english version was on ESPN2.

The stands do not look full do they? I'm thinking espn is the big spender here..
The yellow flag did not need to be thrown. All of the cars were moving and the track was not blocked..it is a road course after all!
Betsy:rolleyes:

I love watching JEFF GORDON road race. This one is sortof boring.

At least this will make the race interesting. I'm hoping that his aggression doesn't take out too many cars.

Well at the break he was in 12th...by now he should had cracked the top ten...GO JUAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've gotta admit, he's showing how it's done. These last four cars are going to be hard to pass, but he passed Pruitt early on with ease, so I expect him to be up front within five or six laps. He sure is in his element.

JPM up to 3rd! Hamlin was passed with ease, but Boris and Scott just may present a more difficult challenge.

Juan is one hell of a driver as well as a quick learner!

How about this...they almost run half the race without any cautions and now the yellow is flying time after time. Also, they used to have just area cautions instead of full track cautions. I realize that when a car is stopped and can't move, it's necessary for the full course caution, but it appears that this caution is the first one that fit that category.

They may have been doing that because there is lots of rookies in the race?
or not much expierience?

Nice going JPM. This is good! I wonder how Scott feels bout now. Wish I were down there to witness this in person, but it's sure exciting.

Listening to MRN, Brian Paddy is walking towards JPM's pit. Ganassi appears to be extremely miffed.

Yeeeeeeehaw. This is what racing is all about. Montoya is not going to let anything stop him from winning this race. :bounce:

Funny, i though Juan had the position, Scott went to block but he was just a tad bit late and Juan couldn't help it and got him.

Scott is the leader he runs his line, everyone else has to follow or find a new line. Pablo just over drove it in the turn.

This may be what Denny needed. He was putting some heat on him on the back side of the track, so if he can get a good start he might be able to get around him.

With all the yellows and everything that has been going on the tires should be about even between the 42 and the 20. The 9 is staying with them also.

What the hell happened to the local yellow? Freakin use it.

Oh Christ. Run out there and pick up that debris. You have a good 90 seconds before they come back around. Sheesh.

Priceless...dont you just love this yellows?

ESPN who is owned by ABC is now showing that they are still the same as they were years ago. They have to have a camera on the wife of the leader at the end. Who the hell cares what the wife thinks?

Great job for JPM.

There there kitty kitty, WTG Juan.

EDIT TO ADD: Yeah i know CB i hated that they did the split screen thing, i could honestly careless for his wife been nervous..GIVE ME FULL SCREEN
