Tell me how to watch the World 600 and Indy 500 races on TV while in China.

First there are restrictions here and I haven't had any luck with streaming or finding feed when I tried for the Southern 500
I have no Wi Fi so my English friendly device is useless.

I may go to a hotel and rent a room with something that has American Channels, but I don't know for sure what stations they offer, but most likely they would do FOX and ABC. I could also walk to an Internet cafe and they might have more Internet options for streaming but getting support from staff will be difficult due to language.

Currently here's my best case scenario

I can get the F1 Monaco event in Chinese on the TV where I am staying.
Maybe the Indy 500 on their website, They do have a constant feed, that I can see now, I just don't know what the race day plans are, do they have an agreement or clause with ABC that will prevent them from providing them from offering a live feed during the 500.

If they do allow and show the feed, I am in business with a PC that someone is kind enough to allow me to use. But I am not going to change the settings to English etc, because the PC ain't mine, trying to use it and while leaving the smallest footprint.

Finally the main event.

The 600 and Race Buddie. I saw an offer to do a two week trial. How does it work, is it the same video feed shown on TV? If that works I am also good.

If all else fails and I have no live coverage, I will just try to read the running order posted on various websites in real time, and follow the event as closely as possible on the race discussion board here.
I will travel to Southern China on Monday, fly back to the states Tuesday, and be catching up on the must do's afterwards. Hopefully the DVR is working and recording it all for me.

The biggest bestest race day of the year, any tips or advisement is appreciated.

I wish that I could be of help to you. I hope that you can work it out. The Internet Cafe thing sounds like a good idea. Maybe someone there can tell you in advance if the program will be available.

The Commies hate everything American - except for the US Dollars, that is...

Don't the CIA provide some kina secret communications thingy when you are travellin on 'company' business ?

I guess some will do anything to get away from the broadcasts I'm thinking the Internet Cafe too. I got a buddy that spends a lot of time over there I'll see if he knows anything.
