I've been considering doing a wall in my room in brick or wood wallpaper to give it that industrial or rustic look, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or something similar?

Lowes and Home Depot offer several different types of faux wood/brick paneling in thin 4x8 sheets, they might not have many choices in stock but they can order a lot of different styles. It's very quick/easy to install, even without a nail gun. Like Bobby said, it can be removed just as easy as long as you don't use glue.

I put some pallet boards up in my garage, installing the boards was extremely easy with a nailer and easily removable with a pry bar, the most time consuming part was taking apart the pallets, but you might get lucky and find someone local who is selling disassembled pallet boards or reclaimed wood or whatever.

It took some time, but the cost was $0.....

I guess it all depends on how much time/money you want to invest. Wallpaper would be great if it wasn't such a hassle to remove.
