Only ten days left till 2003!! Most of us are all wrapped up in Christmas holidays right now.......great time of the year!:) Then we all get ready for the New Year's.......fun time of the year too.:) I just looked at the total members on the forums.........it is 978. 22 more and we will be at 1000!! Joeysmom is our newest member (come on joeysmom, come out and get aquainted.......we don't bite!!). About a month ago someone (I think it was pettybenson) pointed out that we were close to reaching 1000........I remember posting something about only 3 members a day to reach that number and we would be 1000 by 2003. Well, we are only about 2.2 per day now.......I still think we can do it!! Email all your friends that have an interest in racing........tell them about us!! It would be great to have 1000 by 2003!!:)
 
I'll see if I can get the Mrs to join. She's a big race fan, but plays games at Pogo on the net. I should be able to get her to join...doncha think? :)

I have a couple friends who say they are NASCAR fans....but when it comes down to it, they are really just the "newbies" (sort of the fad followers.........there are lots of those these days:( )!! Can't force them to have a real interest.:)
 
The Mrs, or Red as she has been known by other racing enthusiast, used to really love to chit chat on the boards, but as I said, she's into playing dominoes with a few people. I'll tell you this, if she does come aboard and participates, she'll outdo me! :)

yes it was me who posted that thread. i think we can still do it!! I have been watching it and there was a few days where only 1 person joined.
