Texas Terry Labonte is going to make a retirement announcement on October 12th @ Hendrick Motorsports in Harrisburg, North Carolina on his 2005 and 2006 Year, he will be in the #44 Hendrick Motorsports Chevorlet Sponserd by Kellogg's for 10 races

Terry Labonte is nearing the end of his road as a NASCAR regular. Expanding on Bill Elliott's example this year, Labonte said Saturday he will run a schedule of at least 10 races each in 2005 and 2006 for Rick Hendrick, his car owner since 1986. (High Point Enterprise)

Veteran driver Terry Labonte has scheduled a press conference next week to announce his plans. Labonte is expected to announce his semi-retirement and run a partial schedule next year as Bill Elliott has done this season. (Tennessean)
