It is expected this week for all of the F1 teams to be putting cars on track as the test ban is lifted. Ferrari will field five cars, sending a few to Monza, and a few to their private facilities. Jaguar, Jordan, and Toyota will also be using a few of their alloted tested periods(because they have friday tests). McLaren and Williams will also been seen on track, no doubt the michelin men will be testing tyres for their upcoming GP. McLaren will be doing development work on their MP4-17D but will also field I believe two MP4-18's at Jerez. The usual test drivers will be in the cars as well as the GP drivers, all except Rubens and Firman who suffered heavy accidents one week ago at Hungary. Firman is confirmed not to be taking part in testing for Jordan, but Zsolt will take his place. Rubens is still undecided and he could possibly be replaced by fellow driver Burti is he feels he has not recovered from his bruised back.

Testing will be going on all week and I will keep you updated.
