Never have payed much attention to this. How much time testing to the teams get over the break?

Unlimited testing during the offseason.
As much as they want at tracks where WC doesn't race.
The test at Homestead was a GM test. It shouldn't count against the teams.
In January, NASCAR will hold a mandatory test at Daytona for all teams. It will count as one of the test dates.
Next year, WC teams get only 5 tests. Rookies can have 9, I believe.

Why should it count? Seems like it shouldn't if all the teams have to do it.
