Texas and Phoenix swap Spring race dates: Texas Motor Speedway says it will have a slight shift in its 2010 NASCAR schedule, with the Samsung 500 Sprint Cup race weekend falling on April 15-18, moving from the seventh to the eighth event of the season as a result of a date swap with Phoenix International Raceway. TMS officials agreed to the move to accommodate NASCAR and network television partner, Fox, because the Samsung 500 on its traditional April date would have been pitted directly against the final televised round of the The Masters golf tournament. Phoenix moves into that slot without a conflict since it will host a Saturday night race. The move of the Texas race weekend also includes a NASCAR Nationwide Series race, which will be held April 17 before the next day's Cup race. The track's fall race weekend, scheduled for Nov. 4-7, remains unchanged and will once again feature Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck series races.(SceneDaily), have a rough 2010 Schedule posted at 2010 Sprint Cup Series Schedule page.(8-27-2009) Comment here
