FYI we've lost both satelites already, climbed on the roof and brushed them off for TV and inet signal. Right now there is 2-3" on the patio and rails, 4" to 6" on the ground. The whirlybird for our underground tornado cellar is covered. I have pics but inet isnt tough enough to put them up.
 
LOL --- that's why our dishes are only 6 feet off the ground.

We're expecting heavy rain -- if I lose satellite, the TV is out, but I can go to dial-up as a backup for the 'net. :)
 
looks like it's tapered off a little. Gonna try to upload the 40 something pictures. Even took the robot out for a wheel. Once i post the video, you'll realize the snow amount.
 
our school is using an automated telephone system now. I get out at noon. At 1:30 we get a call from the school saying that the school will be closing at 2:00 for inclement weather. That's when my dad tried to drive me to work and we slipped off the road twice, only 3 miles from home. Then at 2:45, we get another call, saying that 6 busses were stranded on camp sweeney hill (a VERY steep hill that the busses have to use 2nd gear to get up on normal days) and that they were waiting for heavy equipment from the local txdot office to help pull the busses over the hill to get to the south side of the bus route. We're not even sure what the status of tomorrow is yet. Think they waited a wee bit too long?

my dad says the wheels will rot cuz they got wet. But i dried em off pretty quick. otherwise, i need to make em a wee bit wider anyways.

i don't think global warming caused this snow, but global warming will eventually cause another ice age.

as for global warming if you don't believe it is happening why the hell has my part of the country had the hottest weather on record and drought for the last 5 years ?

Look it up if you don't believe me

We're in the middle of the coldest winter we've had in 15 years.

Weather changes. 40 years ago, it was global cooling and now it's global warming. It's just the enviroMENTALists whining about something, they always will.
 
This weather sucks. :(

It's supposed to be cold and rainy every weekend for the next three weeks.

WHERE THE HELL IS GLOBAL WARMING! :mad:
