Texas Tech Football players ... Classless

I know it may have been a couple nights ago, but anyway, I've been watching replays of it and at the end of the game, something happened which triggered something in the minds of many football fans including me.

After Texas Tech scored the final touchdown against the Navy Midshipmen, the Texas Tech players put the ball on the ground in the middle of a circle and gathered around it. The players acted like the football was a hand grenade and fell and dove on it in a celebratory like manner and mimicked an explosion and all played dead, almost mocking the opposing team.

Firstly, I must say, doing this against a Military or Naval Academy, is not only wrong, it is classless and just plain sick. Those players mocked people who are going overseas and risking their lives for our protection. Even ESPN and other National Networks are airing this act of just plain unsportsmanlike conduct. I'm not in the military at all, though my brother is. I dont care if you are a Texas Tech fan, however the actions of a few can be seen as the actions of the entire organization.

Before the game, a Navy Linebacker led the team out of the introduction tunnel while carrying the American Flag. Clearly an emotional tribute to the men and women who've lost their lives in wars past and present, when afterwards, Texas Tech's players a couple points and quarters later turn what was once a patriotic tribute, a football game into a disgrace.

I thought any kind of celebration in college football was considered a penalty? What they did was pretty stupid IMO, maybe they will realize this and publicly appologize.
