It's Friday! What a week. I hope ya'll have a great day! Maybe the weekend will liven this place up.
Have a good one!

Happy friday, all. Wish me luck, or better yet my son needs the luck. The athletic trainer checked his shoulder this morning for the pain he was having, and now I have to take him to the doctor for a possible broken collarbone. He might have broken it in the football game last nite. I guess if it is broken, it was a bittersweet victory. They won the game 21-0.
Will check back in later this afternoon with the results. Lord only knows how long it will take at 1)the doctor's office, 2)getting x-rays at the hospital and 3)finding out the results of the x-rays. Thank goodness for insurance, tho'.

Sorry to hear that Maj. but thats the price for playing football, I my right knee blown out as a senior and ruined my football career. :(

Cloudy and a bit chilly here in Kansas. The weekend should be OK for racing. The sun is supposed to come out later this afternoon.

I'll be leaving here on Saturday to spend a week and half in the Milwaukee/Chicago area and then go on to do the BGN race in Memphis.

Maj,...... so sorry to hear about your son. Hope that it is something that will repair well and not cause him discomfort later in life.

Ok here in Henderson, I'm still going through allergies but I think I can make it. See you all around !

Maj. I hope everything turns out fine with your son. Please let us know what you find out.

Well, here it is after 4 pm and I just learned about the results of the x-rays.............................................

It's not broken, WOOHOO! It is certainly a relief. It is just strained, and he cannot take any contact for a week. First a mild concussion 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago he busts his chin open and now this. And to think that I wouldn't let him play pee wee football! lol Oh, well. Like bowtie said, it's the price you pay for paying football.

Thats great Maj. your little boy is turning into a man. :D

After we found out it wasn't broken, he said, good. Now, take me back to the school so I can go to Kelly's volleyball game and the football game afterward. (Kelly is the girlfriend.)

Naw...quality rope. You know as well as I do those --uh--redneck girls can chew thru damn near anything.Quality rope is important.

Only when they are younger...before they damage there teeth beyond repair. ;) In their older years rubber ,plastic, tin, etc.is all they can handle.

The right time of the month and they can handle anything they need to get through, and don't get between them and a cheeseburger.
