Thanksgiving for me means racing. Southern National has the Thanksgiving Classic this weekend, 795 laps of racing headlined by the 200 lap Late Model Stock Car feature on Sunday.

Will be a great show.

Would love to make it up there but it's a little far and I have to work that day. That $20,000 paycheck ought to be pretty nice for the winner. And cup drivers kvetch about making only two million...

Sam Mayer didn't go for the $20,000. He's going for a lesser amount. And that's odd, he could easily win.

Stout field of Late Models

Seems like a decent event, but did they really only have 8 super late models??
I know the LMSC race was the headliner, but still surprised to see that. Must have been like no payout for the SLM. They had 34 at the Hickory PASS show the week before. It did have a good payout though.
Maybe teams didn't wanna bother with Kenly since the Snowball Derby is so soon??
