Banquit has some good microwave dinners TW. :D

I ain't never found them. :p

Oddly enough, we are also doing quite a spread Thursday. Deep frying a turkey, making a bunch of other stuff to go with it. Gonna chow about 3, then nap, then start moving overnight. Due to the fact that the sellers wouldn't get out of my house until the 29th, and we have to be out of the rental by noon the 29th, I ain't got much choice but to do a little moonlight moving.

I'm trying to look on the positive side...this will be the first move I've made when I won't have to worry about the house getting full of flies from the doors being propped open...:D

20 years ago it was a huge family affair, but sadly, I've lost most of my family, and so has my hubby.

Now, we have Thanksgiving with a good friend and some of her family. :)

My parents are coming to my house this year. Ought to be wonderful.

My nephews are coming for Thanksgiving. So it will just be a small dinner with a few family members. Thankfully there are only so many times you can eat three Thanksgiving dinners in one day.

This year is just my husband, kids(3?) and my mother-in-law. It used to be we would go to my grandparents, and everyone - aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandmother, mother, step-father, brother, sister - the list goes on. But things have changed as I have gotten older, and now I really appreciate the quiet time with just a few family members. Besides, my sister lives south of Houston, and the rest of the family (my side) lives in Tennessee.:(

me and my family goto my uncle and aunt's house, my cousins(2) and my other uncle we be there too.

I always have a big family get together about an hour or so away. Probably be about 20 of us. The only one missing this year is my son who will be at his Mom's house. :(

(3?)  Do you not remember how many kids you have?:p

Yes, I know how many I have, just don't know how many will show up. You know how teenagers are.....there are more important things for them to do.

And, TWF, we will also be having a deep fried turkey. I don't think I will ever eat another baked turkey again. Deep fried chicken is wonderful also!!:)

Gotta work all day then go over to my in-laws with about 20 other people. Everybody there are Redskins fans and I'm the only Cowboys fan. Its always a lot of fun. After I eat (dinner is at 2, I'll still be at work), we'll watch the rest of the game and split the guys and gals into two groups. We then play Triva Pursuit for bragging right all year.

The girls have a secret to this...they continue to bring us beer all day. And they usually win.

We'll be spending the day with the mother-in-law in Newton, just about a half a mile south of Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. This ought to be fun!:cookoo:

Think I am going over to nascats22 house. If you don't hear from me again call 911. LOL

Just gonna be me and DE for thanksgiving, plus the animals.....(3 dogs, 3 cats)

I've got to try this deep fry thing..... I assume that it makes a moist turkey ? Is it fool proof, cause I'm a "fool chef"!!

This will be the first time in my life I will not spend at least part of Thanksgiving with my brothers and sisters. But it has been a lot harder since Mom and Dad have passed on. Some will get together at my sister's house but my one daughter is allergic to cigarette smoke and my other daughter has asthma and the cigarette smoke just tears her up. It's sad that that can can come between family, but I have to do what is best for my kids. We will go to my in(out)-laws for lunch with 15-20 people in all. It makes for a good meal anyway.

We're going to have my immediate family (7 people - 3 sisters and a brother), our Japanese exchange teacher, a friend of my mother's, and my grandmother, with her husband and son. That's a total of 12. And it's only 2 full families!!
