Thanksgiving

I can't wait till Thanksgiving. I get to go home and spend time with my family. I might even get to see some of my friends. So I am happy. Then I will get to go SHOPPING!!!! LOVE THAT!!! lol

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays too. I like it best when everybody comes over to our house, but my wife pawns it off on her mom or sisters cause she says it is too much work. It's at her mom's house this year which is cool. We will go to my brothers house afterwards. It is always nice to see family as long as it isn't for a funeral.:eek:
 
Happy Thankgiving and happy shopping. What school do you attend?

I haven't had a Thanksgiving off in the past 6years. I should've had it off this year but things happen I guess. Have a drumstick for me would ya? :)
 
The good days of college. Seems so long ago for me. I graduated in '96. Have fun.
 
Hey needles, I know how that is. This year I am off for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but am on call New Year's Eve. I have to work the day after Thanksgiving, so no shopping for me.:(

We have to pick two of the major holidays, either Christmas Eve or Day and either New Years Eve or Day. I always spend part of Christmas and New Years at the hospital. :(

But it could be worse. I could be the one that's in the bed.
 
I'm kinda looking forward to it myself, as it will be the day before we move into the new house.
 
MMMMMMMMMMMM, Deep fried turky, stuffing (NOT dressing), sweet potato souffle, Indian succotash, green bean casserol, pumpkin and pecan pies, homemade cranberry sauce....MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
 
Me and my friends always play a ncie game of tackle football on thanksgiving morning. Then dinner, then I don't really care. I'm not big on Thanksgiving.
 
I'm with you Kat, Deep Fried Turkey. Fried my first one about 6 years ago and haven't put one in the oven since.
