The #1 car

The last race for Green in the #1 car is scheduled to be next week, at Darlington. Seeing as how he hasnt done much there at all, I dont see him lasting past the agreement time.

Any takers on who we will see in the car at Richmond?
 
I am gonna give him the denifit of the dout. And say DEI will keep him untill Nov. I don't think Ward will jump ship in the middle of the streem.

Ward has finished better recently, and he has been quoted saying that that is due to Davis hiring engineers for the team, seems to be helping the #22 quite a bit. So I dont see the Ward leaving the #22 right now, if at all, but thats a whole other subject.

I think the #1 team will have a rotating drivers seat ala #4 team to see who best fits the job. Speaking of which, besides Sauter being out of control for most of the nite in the #4 last nite, he seems to have given that car the most out of it than any of the drivers put in that car so far.

I agree. All of us talking about Kurt Busch being ****y. If this guy gets that ride. Watch out.
 
They need to be sure that Green is not in that car after richmond, I would like to see John Andretti in it.
 
well i bet if riggs is drving that car next year, he'll be in it for a few races...
 
I'd say Riggs and Andretti would be two viable options. John Andretti raced w/ dei once this year, and riggs might drive for them next year. Then again, maybe they will put old Buckshot Jones in the car!!!
 
Well, I would have to leave my wife and kids at home, but uhhmmm, OK I'll apply for the job. It will be tough but I'm willing to make the sacrifices. They don't even have to :bounce: pay me!
 
Just send DEI a check for a couple million dollars and say you want to drive, and hope that it doesn't bounce higher than the Rockies before you have a chance to ride!
 
I think they might put Scott Riggs in a few races, it'd be in their best interest to.
 
Could be anyone at this point, why even I could be in the 1 car..... :lol:
