With less than half a lap to go, I thought the gap to Malukas was too much. I am sure he had to be shocked; the pass was unbelievable. He is righteous and first-class, and hopefully, in time, he can feel a sense of pride for driving a great race and win it in the future.

Man, I have a feeling Pato is about at his limit with McLaren in general. His tone is becoming more and more assertive with every interview.

His fustration is there.

He’s only been doing this since 2020 but I think he’s only behind Michael now in terms of always having speed here but enduring constant futility. One wreck going for P2 with Ericsson a few years ago and never finishing worse than 6th besides that is just an absurd run of form. I think seeing his good buddy Felix win it a few years after parting from McLaren will probably plant a few more seeds in his mind.

If you plan properly, you can mount a towel rod on the bathroom wall between the end of the Trucks and the green at Indy.

Just to follow up, you can also mount a bathroom tissue holder between the end of the I500 and well before the Charlotte green.

It sucks, but Marcus still finished on podium and MSR was represented well. Marcus will get his soon enough, just MSR needs to tighten up their race pace on street courses.
