Ok...I am one of those guys who has to do things way ahead of time or I will forget it.Last year,for instance,we celebrated Christmas on November 19....just in case.

Anyway, a lot of us took part in what history will record as 'the great migration' last June.Just look at some of the join-dates of the folks on here and you will see what I mean.Seeking refuge from the TR wasteland,we sought the promised forum of legend.The holy grail of all race fans!It was like one of those post-apocolyptic(who the @#$%$ can spell that!)movies.We trickled from over there to over here.I eventually noticed a lot of my fellow posters in the wasteland were slowly vanishing!HA!...Thanks guys,for letting me know where the whispered 'other forum' was!(Sarcasm---no one invited me!)

But....like Maj and HS and Bowtie and 4x and Royal Orange and be9ak7ts16 and a WHOLE lot of you other guys that I am so sorry I left out(Hey,the steel trap isn't as effective as it used to be! :) )I finally found my way over here on the 14th!So this round is on me to Paul and TRL and the folks who came before us-----and the brave souls that still are arriving daily! :cheers:

To all you guys,regardless of when you got here....it's been a pretty cool year on here!

And to all my fellow 'fourteeners' who are still around:

I joined little over a month before you did. You could really tell that people where migrating in jeards here from TR. I was not sure about that at first, worried the the reason you all left would wind up here, if they did paul took them out not soon after! And this is a better place with all you TR migraters, thanks to Paul as well for taking the trash out!

You are correct, 97. I got here as fast as I could (kat leaked it out about this place, and I am sooooo glad that she did, miss her here, too). So, bowtie, if you're buying, I'm drinking! :cheers: (At least until your money runs out)
A big thank you to Paul, for putting this place together, TRL for keeping the coloring books and crayons close at hand for those who get out of line, and for nascarwoman for the decorating and redecorating jobs that she has done around here.
A special thanks to Hardscrabble for all of the wisdom that he puts into word form - gotta love the guy for it ;)

BTW, bowtie, I think he meant "herd" :wacko:

Well at least I got over my feeling of rejection and alienation a couple of weeks ago.Just imagine if I had been left over there,man!All alone with only the 'Jeff-is' "Jeff-aint' crowd!Man,thank God I recognized budcat and pbunch's name on this place or I would still be roaming around looking for you folks.Whew.Just glad to be here.

I was on TR at one time. Heard about this Forum and came here is Aug. 02. And haven't been back. Haven't missed TS at all. This is a pretty cool place think I will stick around a while. :D

You didn't miss much by not being on the other forum. If you didn't cuss or wont to be cussed or if you didn't argure or fight you didn't say much.
 
Nice post 97, Paul has a nice place here,and Trl is one of the nicest people you could chat with,She gave me crayons a few times. :D
 
Yeah...that is my "R-F anniversary" too. That place was a joke that wasn't funny.
 
I missed it by a few days also, was on that forum under a different name.
 
I came from Tonystewart.com where I met paul who invited me here.I joined early May of last year.I may surf the net but still return home.
 
Was just noticing 97 that we came in on the same day. I remember rumblings about some other forum when i was at TR. i don't remember who I asked but I'm sure glad I did. I kind of wandered off for a bit but I'm back for more fun. I go back to TR every now and then and it reminds me why i left. Paul, thank you for a well run forum.
 
I was at TR until I made the switch to here about March or April '01. We made a few moves since then, but I always found my way to the new home.

I figured you might TRL. :D I still have the desk I had in 4th grade in my garage. It has a lot of fond memories. My mom bought it at a school auction,when the little house I attended school in was auctioned off. ^_^

Hey I got a keg and a few gallons of moonshie, ill have a few hip flasks with me cause ill be partying at the Brooks and Dunn concert that night but we can have a 1 year eve type thing lol
