Ok, now I'm a Klye fan and just figured his car blowed up at Cali......but on another site S.G is outraged by the fact that his car wasn't taken for inspection after the race.

Here are a couple of his comments......

disgusting. just disgusting and scandalous.

based on this one instance and i will not leave it alone until a real answer is given, either their is favoritism, a payoff or unfathomable ignrance on the part of nascar with regard to the 18s problem at cali.

ill state 99.9999% of every instance of the exact description described by kb in his interview is a result of a problem with a popular and easy to hide power adder.

i have absolutely no idea what the .0001% could be, but i left it open in the event something falling into heisenbergs uncertainty principle occurred just then. maybe a part of some planets atmosphere very rich in n20 wound up in the 18s intake manifold that instant ?

this is no small thing and yet it was completely ignored.

and here is another

someone, somewhere with the ability to do some research and publicizing needs to get on this.

i cant believe an entire motorsports community can be sooooo ignorant of something sooooo tell-tale.

its unforgivable that car and motor werent pulled.

This guy S.G. is a real Rev head and knows everything there is to know about motors.....You guys think he is on to something here?.....or not

First of all stay away from crack-addict websites. Secondly, what about Biffle and Kenseth (well, Matt didn't actually blow ALL the way)...?

I don't understand the problem these idiots have. He didn't finish the race anywhere near the front and qualified in the teens. What would make NASCAR want to look at it? His championship hopes are long gone. I could understand if he dominated practice, got the pole and his **** blew up when he had a 10 second lead on the field but this is rediculous. Probably a Jr. fan saying that crap.

Actually , there is video somewhere of Brad Kezlowski pouring an unidentified liquid into the 18's tank . But it was probably nothing.:D

Well on the first point...you guys just tend to fight amongst yourselves

Secondly, when Biffles car blew up there was heaps of smoke out the back indicating valve......his point was Kyle's didn't and looked suss

....I just asked for your opinion

just move on if you dont like it

Kyle had smoke

Yeah?...I DVR'd it so will take a good look but I'm just out the door for afternoon shift at work...Grrrrr

Yeah they were following a battle about 4 cars back and they drive into a cloud of smoke I though someone wrecked

There was some smoke, although not like Biff's. But I don't think it was anything nascar should've checked out.

Looks like smoke to me....

I have agree with you. I smoked for many years and consider myself somewhat of an expert on the subject. I know smoke when I see it. I analyzed this photo that I found here as well as the video evidence that you provided and I have come to the conclusion that, yes, it is indeed smoke. :D

The 16 had a catastrophic lower-end failure wherein a rod or some other rotating assembly part breached the oil pan, spraying oil all over the headers and hot exhaust system. Kyle had a component failure that was limited to and confined within the cylinder, hence the smoke out the exhaust system.
Biff stated that he had no indication before the motor let go (indicative of a rotating assy. failure). Kyle said he felt something in the motor as he was coming off of two before the motor let go in 3 & 4 (indicative of a valve coming in contact with a piston).
Nothing there to remotely suggest that a generous dose of Poinsey's Super Rocket Fuel may have played a part...

Sounds to me like a standard valve spring failure that is a normal occurence. That guy.....sounds whacked if you ask me, looney tune.:cuckoo:
