I was just reading on the NASCAR website that next years Bud Shootout might be run under the lights on Saturday Night and that qualifing for the Daytona 500 will be during the day on Sunday. I think that would be really cool because I like night races and most of the drivers also enjoy them.
 
That's what Jayski has reported. That would be fun to watch, I just enjoy the races under the lights more so than during the say.
 
The Bud Shootout should be renamed The Tony Stewart Invitational Tournament Race.
 
A night race would be cool for the Bud Shootout. Why not change it up a bit?

That would be so cool. I love night races, but they should change the format a little, like eliminate cars like they do at the winston or something.
 
Yes, let's make qualifying for Daytona more complicated than it already is. It's horrible enough as it is.

The lights will make it cool, night racin' is where it's at.
 
They've got electronic timming now. Put all the cars out on the track at the same time for a hour and record the fastest 43 times. They do qualifyinmg in F1, CART like this with no problems.

Why would Nascar want to do something that simple?:)
 
Plus with that under the lights we will be able to see the new paint jobs under the lights raight out of the gate instead of later in the year.
 
FOX is gonna love prime time racin and you hear no complaints from me neither:thumbsup:
 
I love night races and having the Bud shootout under the lights will be great. Good news to hear. :D
