as we all know rusty and mark are retireing at the end of this season,
so who do you think will drive the #6 & #2 next year?
 
Well, going on the rumor mill, it sounds like Craven will end up in the 6 car. Of course, Wood may also wind up there as well. As for the 2, many say McMurray, but I doubt he will be able to get out of his contract with Ganassi and we'll se Sam Hornish make the jump.

They all are good............some are better than others, though :D

I think it's a little early for speculating about who's going where next season. All sorts of names will be tossed about in the rumor mill and we all will probably be surprised at the final decision.
 
For how long is McMurray under contract? Anyone?

Personally, I'd like to see Benson in the #6.
 
McMurray has 1 year left on his contract with Ganassi.
And, if this is Marlin's last year with Ganassi you have to figure they wouldn't want to start next year with all new drivers.
 
I don't see Sam Hornish moving over until the Marlboro money runs out in the Indy Cars' at the end of 2006. Is Truex signed by DEI yet, I could see him in play for one of those seats?
 
i wouldnt be surprised to see Craven or Wood in the 6..or Hornish or McMurray in the 2.....Truex is trying to get a contract worked out with DEI right now...some thing he'll leave...but i think in the end, he'll end up signing with DEI.

latest rumor i read was that Tide may end up over at the 6 car.
 
CRAVEN & TIDE to the 6 car is the hot rumor right now... and Harvick to the 2 car. Guess we'll see in time
 
isnt mikey's DEI contract up this year? if so i think he would be good in the 2 car
 
from what i hear...if Napa resigns with DEI...DEI will try to get MW back.
 
yay, if Mikey did leave and go to the 2 car that would kinda be funny cause Jr is Bud and the 2 car is Miller
the reason why hed be good for the 2 car is Rusty said they want an experienced driver and a driver that can work well with sponsors and in my opinion mikey is the great with the sponsors
 
Earnhardt Jr. has stated that he wants Waltrip to stay with DEI...he didn't say which car. Of course that could just be smoke. DEI had no problem jacking Park the heck outa there.

I hadn't heard about Waltrip in the #2, however. Sounds interesting.
 
I hope NAPA and Mikey leave. Then I've got another driver to pull for...
 
That would be called a divorce, and who would get Little Martin Truex Jr.Maybe Mikey is fed up with duet commercials.And what about Grandpa Darrell and the Toyota deal.Maybe Mike,NAPA,and Toyota will take off in the NASCAR CUP ranks and Martin could be Mikes Teammate.Sorry Little E. But D.E.I. has been having troubles of late and if I could get something like Ray Efrinham got why not.
