Hmmm, sounds like something that we ought to attend, but alas, it won't happen. I love the late models, but the wife doesn't care for them unless they have her favorite driver and he doesn't drive a late model. Friendship is a nice track and they used to host SMART races, but when NASCAR took over that series, and since Friendship is an ASA track, they lost the dates for any SMART races. Oh, SMART is the local series for the modified tour which is now sponsored by Whelen and is now called the Whelen Southern Modified Tour, which is a sister series to the Whelen Modified Tour of those wild men from the Northeast, such as Ted Christopher and the rest.
