When it comes to negotiations, sports can be an odd business.

Bea Perez, who runs sports marketing at Coca-Cola North America, found that out when she couldn't re-sign NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte to a Coke deal until first agreeing to a full-speed ride in his race car.

"He insisted," she said.
 
now thats awesome. i bet she never had an adreneline rush like that in her life!!!:p
 
I bet Bobby enjoyed doing that. I know David Pearson once said that one of his enjoyments is riding people around Darlington inches off the wall, just to see the look on thier faces.
 
how did he get time to look at their faces while he was driving!? now thats scary
