I finally quit listening to the blather. No one died, no one was injured, the ship was not sinking --- but the "news" media hyped it like the ship was just going to capsize any minute and THEY WERE ALL GOING TO DIE!

I didn't follow this story at all. Yet another fail by our constitutionally protected press.
 
I somewhat followed the story. I'm not sure if any of the passengers has retained a lawyer but in the event that someone does, the only result will be a disclaimer for all future passengers.

Ordinarily I would probably agree with you on that sentiment, but I'm really counting on mine coming up. I have a meeting with him friday about my upcoming disability hearing. I guess it's about perspective. I need a little more of that from time to time, myself. It's good for me.

They were just saying what I've been saying for a week. It wasn't news, it was entertainment.

The fact that it resulted in enormous ratings speaks volumes about the intelligence of this country.
