Never have I seen a professional offense look that anemic for the first 11 quarters of a season and still manage to score two touchdowns against a very good defense to pull it out. I almost quit watching when Butch Davis sent Kelly Holcomb back out there for the second half. Holcomb had his ankle badly sprained on the first series and he has played terrible football when he was healthy so far this season. He stuck with his guy and it worked as Holcomb made the plays in the end to win it.

Despite the fact that it worked, it was a bad call not to put Tim Couch in the game when Kelly was obviously hurt and largely innefective. Butch didn't want Couch to come in and perform well and cause the quarterback controversy to be brought right back to the forefront.

Well, all my favorite teams lost, can it get any worse? :(
I've had those weekends myself. I feel for ya. :(

It's bad I had the 49er's pick in the fan. football game. But at least the Titans won. :D

Holcomb is a horrible QB, I hope they trade Couch so he has the opportunity to shine somewhere. As for the game it was very sloppy, the 49ers gave the first touchdown to the Browns by all the penalties.

Give credit to the Browns Dee who shut down a very potent offense. 4x, who did you want to win the QB controversy? For a Browns fan, you seem awfully negative towards them all the time. A wins a win and the 9ers are one of the best teams in the league.

Could have the Browns Defensive implosion against the Ravens be a fluke, or is the defense that held the Colts and the 9ers to 21 points, all on field goals be the fluke? Only time will tell.

or either the 9ers handed them one out of their arse. You say Kelly Holcomb is horrible but he showed courage and leadership to go out there on a sprained ankle and win that ballgame.

I never said Holcomb was a horrible QB, I just said that he hasn't played well at all since the season started.

It's a gift. Having lived through The Drive, The Fumble, Bill Belichick, having the team stolen out from under our noses etc, tends to harden your senses.

Not you 4x it was coonhound

Maybe horrible is a little too harsh. He has yet to proven this year to be a legitimate starter. Hes lost the first two games and has a 63.4 rating, plus 3 T.D.s to 5 INT's. Wheres Bernie Kosar when you need him?
