The brutally honest Tony Stewart.

Best interview of the year. These kind of answers is what I like about Tony.

It's such a ridiculous question for a racing journalist to even think of asking, but Tony was looking right at the guy while he asked it, so it's hard to say if it was in intentional goof. The look on Smoke's face, as he begins to realize what the guy is about to say, is priceless!

Yeah whoever thinks its a good idea to ask a joke question to someone like Tony. Unless you want to get grilled of course.

Tony remains me of Greg Popovich from the Spurs. No-nonsense type of guy.

Again, it was obviously a joke. And Stewart realized it, hence the smiling and laughing.

Love Smoke, funny guy, great race car driver, the sport needs more guys like Tony.

I think it's typical tony. he knew who was asking and had fun with it. the same question from someone he didn't know on a bad week would have elicited an entirely different response. kudos to the reporter. somewhere along the way he earned tony's respect.

What is pretty funny was Tony talking after Eldora how this was 'real racing', then ranting after Indy that what we saw was 'real racing'.

Seems like typical Tony to me, but he was probably not as rough on the reporter since he was in a good mood...considering the circumstances.
