And you can get one with the smaller Hemi for about 26k
they get good gas mileage too- in the 18-20 range i believe.

Be a very god investment I think. cheap, hemi, fuel efficient, challenger orange...high resale value?

There's no such thing as a "smaller hemi". Madison Ave hoopla. There is one and only one hemi, a 426 ci 425 hp fire breathing elephant. One that when you nail it makes you see your God.
Those cars would have been even faster but were limited by the tires of the day. A friend had one in a '69 Road Runner. I had a '69 396 375 hp SS Camaro. that hemi scared the krap outa me!!!

LOL

The origional 426 Hemi is 6.9 L

The new hemi's are 5.7 and 6.1- 347 and 372 ci respectively. and even these aren't true hemi's, because the true hemi design failed EPA minimum standards. I think they're actually ovalish hemi's but not for sure.

Well i stand corrected, just going by what i saw on the Dodge website the other day.

Screw the Hemi, give me a 454 anyday! Also I like the Challenger over the Stang, But give me a new Camero and i'll be happy.

Get yourself a Caddy CTS, and put a new nose and tail piece on it. Happy?

I believe there is a version of that car that comes with a v-8 that puts out close to 500hp, think it is the vette motor that they put in it. Heard it screams, kinda expensive too.

the new camaro is the cadilar frame with a midly adjusted cts body, and new nose/tail pieces. That's about it.

10+ years ago i seen a drawing from GM of a retro Firebird and Camero. And te Camero looks close to what they drew back then.

I went to E Prov HS, we'd cut class and walk across the football field and sneak into Tasca. I actually sat in the original Thunderbolt. John Healey was one of the best tuners around. Bill Lawton was hired as the driver. They also had a red Falcon and cream colored Galaxie they raced for a short time. The number 777 comes from the dealership address at the time, 777 Taunton Ave. Tasca has a healthly relationship with Ford and John Force, Force comes by once a year with a show car. But I haven't seen the TASCA on the front of any Force cars since Bob Jr started racing.

Bill Lawton passed away around 15 years ago.
