these guys are hovering around 10th place, but are winless.

who gets a win before the chase? who strokes it on track collecting points? who benefits from the remaining schedule before the chase?

any thoughts?

jmo: stewart and bowyer collect wins. earnhardt will probably stroke it cause i believe the remaining schedule favors him over the rest.

I think Stewart and Bowyer will win at least one race before the Chase starts. Jr, biffle and Justin Beiber....I mean Kasey Kahne won't.

I think Kez comes close at Bristol and then wins at Atlanta to make the chase.

Tony Stewart's been on a high the past few weeks.

He's overdue, so he's my pick.

Kasey wins Pocono and possibly Atlanta to sneak in. I have a better feeling about Pocono based off his early run at Indy.

Stewart seems do, maybe Bowyer, although he hasn't really been doing that well most of the season. Kasey just can't seem to get it together for the entire race, he runs well in segments. Until that team can put it together for an entire race or manage to avoid trouble, I don't see a win coming for the 4 team this year.

Kahne has been over driving a lot, so I don't see him avoiding wrecking out of another race before the chase.

I think Tony has lost it, and he may miss the chase before he gets it back.

Ragan always implodes under pressure. I expect him to fall fast.

If Denny gets it together, there may be 2 1 win wildcards.

Brad had a win lined up at the 600, but Kasey brain farted and held his line....with no gas. Brad was leading with a top 3 car when Cassille spun, and would have held the lead even with a 4 tire stop under green. That caution changed everything, because his big lead over Gordon and others went away, and it set the fuel strategy for Menard and others.

Brad also had a top car at Phoenix?, but had a parts failure set him 7 laps back. If Brad gets another win, he's in. If Ragan melts, there are just 35 points between he and Brad.

My money is on Brad and Menard making it in.

Remember even if Kaselowski gets another Win he still has to get into the Top twenty and be ahead of other drivers who are 11th-20th in points and have only 1 Win.

With 2 wins, he wouldn't need to be ahead of anyone in the top 20. Being just 26 points out of 17th, Montoya, Logano, Martin and allmendinger would have to all have good days to keep Brad out of the top 20 after a win.
