I do not know if this is just me, but this is the most catchy commercial. Everytime I see it, I get that damn song stuck in my head for a couple of days. By the time its out of there, I see the commercial again. It is a viscous cycle.
the one I am talking about

I hate it. It would be so much better if Danica were in it.

Damn, Spike. That makes me feel old (Hell, I guess that I am!). That commercial (song anyway) is forty years old this year! It's a takeoff of a song by The Hilltoppers, a late 60's pseudo-hippie group who made a living singing songs about hard work they'd never done, hard times they'd never seen and love affairs they were incapable of having.

Personally I like the lyrics that Mike O'Donahue, writer for Mad Magazine and original writer for Saturday Night Live, wrote:

Sung to the tune of I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing

I'd like to give the world a hug
And tell it jokes and stuff
Then pull its pants down to its shoes
And chase it through the rough
I'd tie it up with bonds and straps
And check its purse for change
Then leave it out at Moose Grin Hall
With our cousin who's deranged

Coke did that song back in the 70's, had a bunch of hippies and other people standing on a hillside drinking their Coke. I hated it back then and still do today. It does get stuck in your head.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. Hated this song from the very start back in the 70s.
The commercial song I like is this one from Travlers, this isn't the commercial but it's the song.

I liked the original commercial and with the NASCAR twist, love the latest version. There isn't one of those drivers that could carry a tune in a bucket. As a choir, they sound pretty good.

10 years..my god.

What do you put in your ****tails? :D

Coke Zero is my fave

Vodka, grapefruit and pure pomegranate juice or margarita, on the rocks, no salt or 3 fingers of Johnnie Walker Black in a rocks glass. :D That's for weekends, shooting pool.
During the week it's Perrier and fresh squeezed lemons.

How long do you remain.."in the zone" after a few of them...? :D

I call it aiming fluid. I used to shoot pool 8 hours a day, worked in a bar for 10 years. I usually have the table the entire night. It's the only competitive thing this beat-up, 'ol body can handle anymore. :D
Started shooting pool when I could barely see over the table. Drove my dad home from the bar when I was 10, sitting on a flotation cushion from the boat...
