The D.B Cooper of NASCAR

The comments by the unknown poster nailed it.....

On a somewhat racing related note, former Indycar driver and team owner Dick Simon (who was a trained sky diver and a northwest US native) was actually questioned by the FBI in connection with the DB Cooper case. Ironically, not long after the high jacking, Simon put together a deal to buy a couple expensive new race cars. In case you're wondering, his alibi was ironclad, and the FBI was satisfied that he was NOT a suspect. If you are demanding NASCAR content here, Simon made three Winston Cup starts, and scored a 7th at Talladega in 1973.
