What a well done show. Have tears in my eyes after watching that. I too remember the day so very well.

I took the wife out to dinner tonight and DVR'd this. I am not sure I can watch it just yet. What a wuss I have become in my old age.

Its not just old age, I watched just a couple minutes and teared up.

I have a hard time listening to kenny tell his side of the story. You dont hear his view to often but its a different one than you usually hear.

I just finished watching this. I have to say it was well done and quite respectful. I had several emotions that ran through me while I watched it and will not go into any detail.

I just have to wonder what goes through Jr's mind when he comes out of the fourth turn.

I never thought about this part of it before but what goes thru Schraeder's head every day. That had to be a sight that you never forget. When he got over to Dale's window net.I always figured it was hard on Jr and Waltrip but never thought about Kenny.

racers (and competitors in any sport) don't think about what can go wrong, they think about what they need to do to win. if you're worrying about bad things that can happen you wouldn't be able to compete successfully.

I didn't watch the show but do remember Shrader's interview right after the race and it was obvious - at least to me - that it wasn't looking good for Earnhardt.

So your saying Kenny doesn't think about that sight of DE sitting in that car after the crash anymore????

I'd have to disagree with that... I think Kenny thinks about a good bit....its hard not to. But, he is a racer, and suffers from the "it wont happen to me" syndrome. had to be tough on him, as well as Sterlin.... he went months gettin death threats because it was his bumper that started it....
Anyone know when it will be re-aired?? I missed it, and wanna see it..

Agreed. That is why I made my original comment.
